Strip out waste removal for everything left once the old kitchen, bathroom or shop fittings have come out. You or your fitters do the strip out, then we clear the waste so the new work can start on a clean floor.

What we take
A refit fills a room twice: once with the old fittings coming out and again with the packaging from the new ones. We take both.
We clear the waste after the strip out. If you also need the old fittings taken out, ask when you send your photos and we will tell you what we can do.

Shops and units
When a shop or unit changes hands, the old fit has to be out before the new tenant's shopfitter arrives. That waste counts as commercial waste. Essex County Council recycling centres accept no business, trade or commercial waste (loveessex.org, read on 15 October 2026), and GOV.UK guidance says the business must check its carrier is registered and complete a waste transfer note for each load.
Tell us the access times for the unit and where the van can stop. We load from the front door, the service door or the yard, whichever gets the job done with least disruption.
Check first
Older kitchens, bathrooms and shop units can hide materials that need special handling. Tell us if you have any of these and we will advise:

How it runs
Timed to fit between the rip out and the new fit.
Let us know when the old fit will be out and when the next trade is due, along with photos of the room or unit.
From your photos we work out the load and come back to you with a price.
We carry the old units, sanitary ware and boards out, taking care with door frames, stairs and any new work already in.
The floor is swept so the next trade walks into a clear room.
Pricing
Strip out waste is bulky rather than dense. Kitchen carcasses and shop shelving take up a lot of the van but weigh little, while tiles and plaster are the opposite. We price from your photos, looking at the mix of materials, the amount, the floor it is on and the distance to the van.
Our rubbish removal prices page explains what makes a job cost more or less.

Who calls us
Homes, shops and small commercial units.
Fitters who want the old suite gone the day it comes out, so the van stays free for the new one.
Units cleared of the last tenant's counters and racking before the new fit starts. For offices, see office waste clearance.
People doing their own rip out who need the pile on the drive gone before the neighbours start asking.
