Garden waste removal for soil, turf, old sheds, fence panels and the heap left after a big tidy. We bag it or load it loose, carry it through to the van and leave the lawn and the drive clear.

Bin or van
In the Epping Forest district the garden waste subscription is £60 for collections from 1 April to 31 March, as published by Epping Forest District Council on 15 October 2026. For regular lawn and border clippings through the season, that bin is good value and we would point you to it.
It was never meant for a one off clear out. The same council's special collection will not take garden waste, soil, cut down trees, fence panels, sheds or greenhouses, as published on 15 October 2026. The nearest Essex County Council recycling centres, at Waltham Abbey and Chigwell, do not accept bookings for vans, pick ups or large trailers (read on loveessex.org on 15 October 2026).
That leaves plenty of gardens with a pile and nowhere for it to go. That is the job we do.

What we take
If the shed or fence is still standing, mention it when you send the photo so we know what we are looking at.
Weed killers, garden chemicals, gas bottles and anything you think may contain asbestos, such as an old corrugated shed roof, need special handling. Tell us if you have any of these and we will advise.
How it runs
Most of the work is getting it from the back garden to the road.
Stand back and take 2 or 3 photos that show the whole heap, plus a note of how we get from the garden to the road.
We judge the load and its weight from your photos and come back to you with a price.
We bag loose cuttings, carry soil and slabs through the side gate or the house with care, and load the van on the drive or in the road.
We rake and sweep where the heap stood, so you can see the lawn and the path again.

Pricing
Weight matters more with garden waste than with most loads. A van full of hedge trimmings is light. The same space filled with wet soil or broken slabs is very heavy and costs more to dispose of. So we look at what the waste is as well as how much there is, and how far it has to be carried.
Send us a photo and we will come back to you with a price. Our rubbish removal prices page explains how a price is built and how council costs compare.
Who calls us
Small back gardens and big plots alike.
The hedge is cut back, the border is dug over and the old shed is down. Now the heap needs to go.
Turf and soil lifted to make way for a patio, or old slabs pulled up before new ones go down.
An overgrown garden cleared before new tenants move in or before the photos for a sale are taken.
Questions
For weekly clippings the bin is the better buy. Call us for what it cannot take: soil, turf, slabs, sheds, fence panels and the big one off clear out.
£60 for collections from 1 April to 31 March, as published by Epping Forest District Council on 15 October 2026. Extra bins are £35 each and each needs its own £30 subscription. It runs for a fixed period with no pro rata.
In a car, yes, with a booking. Waltham Abbey and Chigwell recycling centres do not accept bookings for vans, pick ups or large trailers, read on loveessex.org on 15 October 2026. Harlow is the nearest Essex site that takes booked vans.
Yes. Soil, turf, slabs and garden bricks all go. They are heavy, so give us a rough idea of how much there is or send a photo with something for scale.
No. A loose heap is fine. If you have bags already filled, leave them where they are and we will load them with the rest.
We come from Theydon Bois and clear gardens across Essex and London. The areas page lists the towns, or just ask when you send your photo.
