Rubbish removal in Waltham Abbey and across EN9, from the streets around the Abbey Church out to the edge of the Lee Valley. Junction 26 of the M25 sits on the edge of town, and we come over from Theydon Bois, load everything ourselves and take it away in 1 trip.

A worked example
A familiar story in EN9: a new bathroom goes in, the fitter packs up the tools and leaves the old suite, the broken tiles and the boxing in a pile by the front wall. It looks like household rubbish, and it is your house, so the tip seems the obvious place.
Essex County Council says otherwise. As published on 15 October 2026, waste from a tradesperson's work at your home must not go to its recycling centres, and Brooker Road would not let a van in to try. A cast iron bath and a cracked basin are not car boot items either.
We would price it from a photo, carry the pieces to the van and take the lot in 1 go. For bigger refits, our builders waste removal page covers rubble and strip out loads.

The local tip
The town has its own Essex County Council site on Brooker Road, EN9 1JU. Before you load up, check these points, all as published by Essex County Council on 15 October 2026:
If your car can carry it and you have a free morning, the tip costs nothing and we would say so. Once the load is van sized, or came from a job done at your house, it needs another route.
What goes on the van
1 price for the whole load, worked out from your photos before we turn up.
Old units, tiles, boards and packaging from a kitchen or bathroom job, including what a tradesperson left at your home.
The furniture that did not make the cut, plus the boxes, bags and rugs that came out of the cupboards on the last day.
Broken slabs, soil in bags, old fencing and cuttings that are far too much for a garden bin.
Washing machines, fridges, microwaves and televisions, taken with the rest of the load. More on electrical waste disposal.
Commercial waste cannot go to Brooker Road at all. We collect it as a separate job, and you will need a waste transfer note for each load.
The tip shuts on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. If you want rubbish gone midweek, its closing days do not affect us.

Where it ends up
Epping Forest District Council and Enfield Council announced on 10 July 2026 that they were jointly hunting an organised fly tipper using an articulated lorry with its number plates hidden. One dump was caught on a Waltham Abbey business's CCTV, and the waste was linked back to addresses that included Waltham Abbey.
Rubbish that ends up like that can lead back to the person who handed it over. Section 34(2A) of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 requires householders to take reasonable steps to check that anyone other than the council taking their waste is authorised to do so.
Look the carrier up on the Environment Agency public register before the day, and keep a record of who took your rubbish and when. You will find us on the register under CBDU525129. A business needs a waste transfer note for each load as well.
Pricing
We do not quote from a list. You send photos or a short video, we look at the load and you get a price for that job alone.
Our rubbish removal prices page shows how each of these feeds into the figure you get.
