Rubbish removal in Theydon Bois, where we are based

Rubbish removal in Theydon Bois CM16 from a business that starts its day in the village. Sheds, gardens, spare rooms and the van loads the nearest tips will not take, all priced from a photo you send us.

Our village

No long drive: we start from Theydon Bois

Our base is here in Theydon Bois, so reaching you is a short hop rather than a journey. That counts for small jobs, where a long trip would be out of proportion to a few bags and a broken chair.

We work all over the village: round the green, which the City of London looks after, along Loughton Lane and its Avenue of Trees, and out to the houses near Theydon Bois station on the Central line. The village borders Epping Forest and some lanes are narrow, so we park where we will not block a neighbour and carry from there.

If you want to know more about who we are, read about the business.

What we clear

What we take away in Theydon Bois

To book, send a photo on WhatsApp, use the quote form or ring 07834 527 855. We reply with a price, then agree a date with you.

Small jobs close to home

A few bags, an old bed frame, a broken garden chair. Starting in the village means even a small load is worth our while.

Loads too big for the car

The nearest Essex tips do not take bookings for vans. If your pile needs a van, we bring ours and take it away.

House and garden together

A wardrobe from upstairs and a heap of cuttings by the fence can go in the same visit, priced as 1 job.

Careful loading on narrow lanes

We keep the van tucked in, keep verges and paths clear, and sweep the spot where the rubbish sat.

A carrier you can check

Ask us, or anyone else, for a waste carrier registration number and look it up on the Environment Agency register first. Ours is CBDU525129.

Prices from a photo

No visit needed for most jobs. A clear photo, plus a note about stairs or access, is enough for us to price it.

One visit

Furniture out and garden cleared on the same trip

A lot of village jobs are a mix. An old sofa from the lounge, a mattress from the spare room, and a pile of branches from the last time the hedge was cut. Epping Forest District Council takes some bulky items through its special collection, but as published on 15 October 2026 it refuses garden waste, soil, fence panels and sheds, so you can end up booking 2 or 3 different things.

We load the lot in 1 visit and price it as 1 job. For bigger outdoor work, see our garden waste removal page, or our main rubbish removal service.

Checking who takes your rubbish

Householders have a legal duty to make sure the person taking their rubbish away is authorised to do it. It comes from section 34(2A) of the Environmental Protection Act 1990, and it applies to every collector except the council. Here is how to check, in 3 steps:

  • Ask for the collector's waste carrier registration number before the day.
  • Search the Environment Agency public register of waste carriers for that number or the business name.
  • Make sure the record is current and the name matches who you are paying.

That applies to us as much as anyone. If the rubbish is from a business, the law also asks for a waste transfer note for each load that leaves the premises.

The tip run

Why a van load from Theydon Bois is hard to tip yourself

The 2 recycling centres in Epping Forest district, at Waltham Abbey and Chigwell, are run by Essex County Council, not the district council. Both have rules worth knowing before you load a car (as published on 18 October 2026):

  • Waltham Abbey Recycling Centre, Brooker Road, EN9 1JU: closed Tuesday and Wednesday, booking needed for every visit, and it does not accept bookings for vans, pick ups or large trailers.
  • Chigwell Recycling Centre, Luxborough Lane, IG7 5AA: closed Wednesday and Thursday, with the same refusal of vans, pick ups and large trailers.
  • Harlow Recycling Centre is the nearest Essex site that takes booked vans.

Picture a neighbour on the green who has borrowed a van, filled it with an old summerhouse and 20 bags from a loft, and then finds neither Waltham Abbey nor Chigwell will let a van in. The choice is a drive up to Harlow with a booking, or paying someone to take it. We take that load straight from the drive, so the van never needs hiring in the first place.

Recycling centre rules from Essex County Council's Love Essex pages, read on 15 October 2026. Trade and business waste is not accepted at any Essex County Council centre.

On the day

What happens when we arrive

  1. 1

    A quick walk round

You show us what is going and anything that is staying, so nothing goes by mistake.

  2. 2

    We do the lifting

We carry it all to the van ourselves, minding door frames, floors and fences as we go.

  3. 3

    Left clean

Once the van is loaded, we sweep up and leave the space clear and tidy.

Pricing

Pricing a job in the village

We price each job from what you send. The volume of the load sets most of it, then weight and awkward items adjust it: a bag of hedge cuttings and a bag of broken tiles look alike but weigh very differently. Carrying from the back of a long garden or down 2 flights of stairs adds time, so mention it.

You will have the price before we turn up, and nothing goes in the van until you agree it. The prices page explains what changes a price, and the quote form takes photos.

Questions

Questions from Theydon Bois

Are you based in Theydon Bois?

+

Yes. Easy Waste Clearance is based in Theydon Bois, Epping CM16, and we carry out the work ourselves.

Can I take a van load to Waltham Abbey myself?

+

Not in a van. Essex County Council says Waltham Abbey Recycling Centre does not accept bookings for vans, pick ups or large trailers (read on 15 October 2026). Chigwell has the same rule, and Harlow is the nearest Essex site that takes booked vans.

Will you clear a shed and the garden in the same visit?

+

Yes. Send photos of both and we will price them together as 1 job.

How much notice do you need in the village?

+

Whatever you can give. Tell us the date you have in mind and we will say honestly whether we can make it, and offer the nearest date we can if not.

Do you give a waste transfer note?

+

Businesses must have one for each load that leaves their premises. If your rubbish comes from a business in Theydon Bois, say so when you book so the paperwork is part of the job.

What do you do with things that still work?

+

Point them out before we load. If you would rather sell or give something away first, we will leave it out; otherwise it goes with the load to a site that is allowed to accept it.
